Welcome to a different type of tasting, where we will explore the growing significance of beer in the gastronomic world. In recent years, beer has progressed from a casual refreshing beverage to a protagonist at the dinner table, becoming ever more appreciated for its diversity of flavours and versatility alongside food pairings. Today, we will discover the complexities and nuances that make each beer unique.
First, we will travel to the Black Forest for a Pils, and then to Thuringia for a black beer. We will then continue our journey by tasting a wheat beer and a smoked beer from Franconia. Next, we will try an exciting ice beer from Düsseldorf, which will certainly pack a punch! Then to finish, we will enjoy a blonde lager from Munich.
So let´s raise a glass and enjoy the journey through a world of beer!
Things to consider:
Taste and Learn sessions include drinks, appetisers, and a masterclass in wine or beer tasting. After attending one of our catas, you will gain access to our Post-Tasting Hub, where you will find the PDF presentation given during the session, some follow-up wine and beer recommendations, and other interesting materials.
Payment is by credit card. Full refunds can only be offered with a week’s cancellation notice. Less than this will result in 50% of the original payment being refunded.
Once payment has been received, we will send a confirmation with more details on the tasting, as well as the location of the session.
Finally, we would like to stress the importance of punctuality at an event like this. With this in mind, we recommend arriving at our bar with ten minutes to spare.
