This edition of Tasting and Learning is dedicated to German wines, known for their freshness, elegance, and uniqueness.
We will begin with a Sekt, a vibrant sparkling wine; then move on to a Blanc de Noirs, a surprising white made from red grapes. Next, we’ll taste a Riesling, Germany’s most iconic variety, followed by a surprisingly light red wine. We will finish with a sweet and tart wine, made from grapes harvested in December.
As always, it’s not just about tasting: you’ll learn how to analyze and describe each wine using a practical, accessible method designed for those with no prior experience.
We also include thoughtful appetisers that complement our wines.
Our appetizers are:
A selection of cheeses from La Antigua in Fuentesaúco (Zamora), served with grapes and walnuts: Pedro Ximénez cheese, truffle cheese, cheese with paprika flakes, and Tempranillo cheese. Fuet, hummus, roasted peppers, olives, breadsticks, bread, a selection of oils from the Sierra de Cazorla, and to finish, some pastries from Madrigal de las Altas Torres (Ávila).
